Our campaign is based on the knowledge of the Slow Fish network: a network of communities linked to rivers, lakes and seas.

Our network includes fishers, producers, scientists, cooks and artists who have a shared vision of sustainable management of marine resources and who strive daily to strengthen the social relationships that are an indispensable basis for a healthy and environmentallyfriendly production chain.

This diversity of perspectives, all engaged in an ongoing, open, and transparent dialogue that is unafraid to tackle complexity, contradictions, and uncertainties, allows the network and all interested parties to broaden their knowledge and understanding of the issues at hand, while providing new motivation and energy that help us work for a better future for coastal and inland fishers.
