Yankee Fisherman’s Cooperative Community Supported Fishery
Proud to carry on a New Hampshire commercial fishing tradition
United States | New Hampshire | Seabrook
The Yankee Fisherman’s Cooperative was founded in 1990 to meet the needs of the local NH fishing community. The Co-op is located in Seabrook Harbor, N.H., sandwiched between Hampton Beach, N.H. and Salisbury Beach, M.A.
The Co-op’s sixty plus members consist of ground-fishermen (catching cod, Pollock, haddock, flounder, etc.), lobstermen, tuna fishermen, and shrimpers. Their boats have access to some of the most productive fishing areas in the Gulf of Maine. Their boats are all day boats, leaving in the morning to go fishing and returning to port each evening with their catch, thereby assuring that they have the freshest products available.
Their fishermen take pride in providing only the highest quality products. They are equally as proud to carry on a New Hampshire commercial fishing tradition that spans back nearly four hundred years. Their facility is annually inspected by the FDA and has continually met or exceeded all health and safety standards. Additionally, their fishermen all fish responsibly by complying with the current fishing regulations to ensure the availability of fresh seafood for years to come.
