February 15, 2019, marked the first Local Farmers, Local Food (LFLF) gathering, held at SRI Lovely rice farm in Malaysia, and bringing together farmers, education professionals, doctors, indigenous peoples, and activists from all around Malaysia as well as a large body of international volunteers.
