2025 Edition
Hospitality professionals worldwide struggle with access to training and education that would take them to the next level in the beverage industry. They also lack opportunities to interact with producers for their professional and personal development, and to gain a deeper understanding of the origins of beverage. At the same time, hospitality professionals play a key role in conveying fundamental values, such as sustainability, social justice and equity
The third edition of the Slow Food Negroni Week Fund have 3 streams of funding, as follows:

Educational Scholarship
WHAT IS OUR GOAL?
The goal of the scholarship is to give less experienced and connected professionals an opportunity for training, networking and focused learning on sustainability in the industry.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Applicants must be currently employed in the beverage industry and interested in incorporating Slow Food values of “good, clean and fair food and beverage for all” into their work. We will prioritize 1) underrepresented people, 2) first-time event attendees, 3) applicants who demonstrate interest in Slow Food values of good, clean and fair beverage.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
A cohort of 12 people per event will receive lodging, a $1000 travel stipend, registration, connection and training with a Slow Food ambassador, and a special Slow Food welcome dinner during the event. Applicants will choose either Tales of the Cocktail (July 20-25, 2025 in New Orleans, USA), Terra Madre Americas (September 26–28, 2025 in Sacramento, USA) or Slow Wine Fair (February 22-24, 2026 in Bologna, Italy).

Negroni Week Innovation Award
WHAT IS OUR GOAL?
We are looking for community-based partnerships that want to develop innovative projects responding to the actual challenges of the hospitality and beverage sector and that center good, clean and fair values in the industry.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Partnerships of two or more organizations, where the lead applicant is an organization with a legal status and active in the hospitality and beverage industry.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
Financial support ranges from $3,000-$10,000 USD for each project.

Slow Food Exchange
WHAT IS OUR GOAL?
We want to connect hospitality professionals with producers in specific sectors. Each Exchange includes a field experience, in-depth forum, networking, and a public event.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Exchanges are by invitation only and focused on producer communities with an existing and healthy connection to Slow Food, and beverage professionals.
HOW TO APPLY?
Slow Food will organize exchanges with selected host communities and will invite the participants directly.
