The history of Irish Raw Milk Cheeses
Piedmont and Ireland – two far-away realities that are united by a common sensibility for quality and excellence – are coming together in September at Cheese* 2013, an international event that every two years gathers cheesemakers and artisans to present their products, meet co-producers and discuss old and new challenges of the trade. Seamus Sheridan, passionate cheese researcher and supporter of the superiority of raw milk, presents Ireland and its fight to preserve traditional flavors at the event, where he will offer an insight to the history of Irish cheeses and offer a selection of traditional products, such as Irish Farming Cheese and Sheridans Onion Marmelade.
