ALBERTO MARCHETTI AND THE SLOW FOOD FOUNDATION FOR BIODIVERSITY:AT CHEESE, ICECREAM TASTES…GREAT!

11 Sep 2013 | English

Everyone knows how good ice cream can taste, but this year at Cheese, Slow Food’s event dedicated to artisan cheeses taking place in Bra from September 20 to 23, ice cream will be twice as good.

In collaboration with the Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity, ice cream master Alberto Marchetti will offer visitors the chance to taste unique ice cream flavors made with Slow Food Presidia products, with profits donated in support of the Foundation’s projects.

Tortona Strawberry, Bronda Valley Ramassin, Farina bóna, Bagnario di Strevi Valley Moscato Passito, Chinantla Vanilla, Roccaverano Robiola. Natural flavors made with products of the highest quality. A tasty way to promote and safeguard Slow Food Presidia products. Because defending biodiversity is important not only to improve the quality of life of local communities, but also to ensure their livelihood.

All proceeds shall be donated to the Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity, in support of its work to sustain quality productions from around the world at risk of extinction, protect unique regions and ecosystems, recover traditional processing methods, safeguard native breeds and local plant varieties.

Discover Alberto Marchetti’s ice cream featuring Slow Food Presidia!

Where? In Bra, at the House of Biodiversity (Via Marconi, inside the Scuole Maschili courtyard)  every day from September 20 to 23!
