The international event Cheese*, which every two years gathers artisans and cheesemakers from every part of the world in Bra (Piedmont, Italy), this year sees Belgium as one of its protagonists. One of the Master of Food sessions, namely the “Voyage in Belgium”, offers the opportunity to explore the country through its traditional products by tasting local cheeses paired with some typical beers of the region, which is especially interesting when considering Belgium’s varied brewing culture. Michel and Frédéric Van Tricht, who count to Europe’s best affineurs, also participate at Cheese as exhibitors and thus offer the visitors, for example, some of their raw-milk cheeses from their region.
