The documentary recently made about Kenya’s Pokot Ash Yoghurt Presidium will be shown later today at the International Berlinale Film Festival this February as part of the Kulinarisches Kino (culinary cinema) program. This is an important achievement for the first of four films to be produced about African Slow Food projects as part of the 4Cities4Dev project.
Kulinarisches Kino has been a special section of the prestigious film festival since 2007, and fosters a partnership with Slow Food International. Each year the program includes around 12 features as well as shorts and documentaries relating to food and the environment. The screenings are followed by dinners paired with local wines and featuring debates on the issues raised by the films.
