This approach not only encourages firsthand engagement but also facilitates the exploration of unexpected perspectives through role-playing dynamics and interpersonal relationships among players. Teachers will receive a manual with all the necessary instructions to guide the game, which will also be facilitated by the viewing of a dedicated video tutorial.
An interactive section
Interactive section in which students learn to communicate on societal challenges and realize their own short movies. The task involves conceptualizing and producing two video lessons in five languages (Italian, English, French, German, and Serbo-Croatian) to be integrated into the educational curriculum in schools. Each video is aimed at high school students from various countries (aged 16-19), aiming to stimulate reflection and provide practical tools to help students effectively communicate the most significant challenges of the food system from their personal perspective. The two videos will focus on the following themes:
- Ethics of image on social media: reading, comprehension, awareness, risks, correct approach to a simple yet effective tool often based on manipulation.
- From script to video production: advice, tips, and steps to follow to achieve a quality video without having access to a professional production structure.
An international contest to write a screenplay on a food challenge, created by Mobile Film Festival, the partner in charge of transmitting to other partners an appealing methodology to involve youths through the cinema and train them to realize a real movie. The schools that will write the best screenplay will win a filmmaking workshop to realize their films (two schools for each country). The two winning schools in every country will participate in a filmmaking workshop. The film-making workshops have the goal to teach kids how to write, shoot and edit a one-minute short film on one of the topics addressed by the project, talking about it in first person. The short films will be hosted on the platform and used in communication and promotion activities.
