How to Save our Biodiversity

04 Dec 2013

What is biodiversity? Why is it important to protect it? What can each of us do? To respond to these questions and to supply tools useful to the entire association and those who want to contribute to this project, the Slow Food Foundation – thanks to the help of agronomists, university lecturers, specialists and producers – is creating educational materials on biodiversity, the Ark of Taste and Slow Food Presidia. Today, three downloadable booklets and one video are available online.

The booklets explain the meaning of biodiversity and how it relates to our daily food, and describe, with concrete examples and practical activities, how to protect them through Slow Food’s Ark of Taste and Presidia projects.

You too can help us save biodiversity!

Download the booklets and pass them on to your friends, producers, chefs, students or anyone interested in protecting the incredible world of food biodiversity that surrounds us.

Available in English and Italian (and coming soon in Spanish, French, Portuguese and German), the booklets are available to download from www.slowfoodfoundation.com.
