A New Chapter in Morocco

This past weekend brings us news from Slow Food in Morocco. Zoubida Charrouf, founder of the movement in the country and at the heart of the first African Presidia has passed the position of the Presidency to El Rhaffari Lhoussaine, lecturer at the University of Errachidia and coordinator of the 10,000 Gardens in Africa project in Morocco.

We would like to thank Zoubida for her involvement and her passion over these years. We welcome the results of this election and wish the best to El Rhaffari and Slow Food Morocco in their future work!
