FoodCLIC

Europe’s urban areas face significant challenges to ensure the availability and consumption of healthy, affordable, safe and sustainably produced food. Promising initiatives taken by municipalities often fail to become embedded in the wider policy context, and to reach food-deprived and vulnerable groups.

FoodCLIC, an EU-funded project that runs from 2022 to 2027, connects people (from politics, science to civil society) and policies from different sectors for an integrated approach to transform urban food environments and food systems.

Given the interconnectedness of food concerns with other (policy) sectors and by virtue of its activities on Urban Food Policies, Slow Food is collaborating with project partners to ensure that urban planning always incorporates food considerations.
