An Alpine Gathering

In October 2010, following the fourth Terra Madre world meeting of food communities organized by Slow Food, a smaller gathering of producers took place in Italy’s northern region of Trentino. Participants from 22 countries worked together towards creating a network of trade and international cooperation based on the principles of good, clean and fair. This recently produced video presents them and their experiences together.

The event was organized by Slow Food Trentino with the support of Provincia Autonoma di Trento – Association for International Solidarity and Coexistence.

Terra Madre is a Slow Food project to create a network of small-scale producers, chefs, academics, youth and others working to improve our food system. Meetings are organized around the world and the next world meeting will be held in 2012. Visit www.terramadre.org for more information.
