VIDEO: Terra Madre Story 2004-2010

Italy - 23 Nov 12

The Terra Madre network was launched by Slow Food to give a voice and visibility to the small-scale farmers, breeders, fishers and food artisans around the world whose approach to food production protects the environment and communities. Every two years since 2004 they unite in Turin, Italy, along with academics, cooks, consumers and youth groups so that they can join forces in working to improve the food system. This clip was played at the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 Salone del Gusto and Terra Madre.
