A Quality Public at Slow Fish 2007

Italy - 05 May 07

8,000 people flocked to the Fiera di Genova yesterday, May 4, for the first day of the 2007 edition of Slow Fish. The number was already a good sign of the fair’s success, but a further analysis revealed that the majority of the attendees came from outside the region and that many were not Italian. Clearly these were highly motivated visitors, with a great interest in the themes dealt with inside the event and, according to the exhibitors, very informed about the world of fish and fishing. Today saw a considerable increase in the attendance figures: By mid-afternoon the turnstiles had registered 11,000 entrants, an increase due primarily to an influx of local visitors.
