Our Events
Slow Food events are happening every day around the world - from community activities organized by our local convivia to major international occasions - to celebrate and promote producers who grow delicious foods with care for the environment and people, thus bringing together pleasure and responsibility. These events provide an opportunity to strengthen the relationships between producers and consumers and to convey the concept of good, clean and fair food to the general public. To build further awareness, Slow Food events include opportunities for learning: from fun activities for children to adults’ Taste Workshops and seminars on important issues that bring together various players in the food system.
Three key international events held in Italy - Salone del Gust & Terra Madre, Cheese and Slow Fish - are organized by Slow Food headquarters in close collaboration with the worldwide network, while Slow Food groups around the world organize regional and nationwide events with the convivia to highlight the quality food products and sustainable producers in their area. Producers from neighboring regions are also often invited to build relationships and provide a greater food experience and exchange. Click here to see the calendar of events.
